As I started to read and adventure into chapters four through eight in the book, it started to get a bit more interesting. By this point all of the characters have gotten to soldier island and are beginning to worry because it seems that they were all framed for a murder but to them they were not at fault and were just unfortunate accidents. A lot of foreshadowing had occurred throughout the course of chapters five through eight. Things such as the title of the record that played their accusations was called “swan song” or “death song.” At the end of chapter four and the beginning of chapter five, Anthony Marston had taken a drink of wine and started to choke, then he collapsed and died. It turns out that his drink was poisoned and he was the first victim to be deceased by this unknown character. A twisted occurrence in the book was after Anthony Marston had died, the ten little soldier china figures had suddenly become a group of nine. Im starting to think that the doctor is this unknown person because he has a lot of medical background and training, so he could easily drug somebody up or lie about someone’s death. He probably had the substance that was slipped into Anthony Marstons drink, causing him to choke.
